Diminutive Art Series

For the entire month of June, Honeyspot hosted an art exhibit titled "Diminutive Art Series" featuring work by Jamaica Plain's finest local artists who happen to be under the age of 7. Artists included:

Ella Hosford
Helen Rieb-Buni
Ruth Ivy Mahoney
Helen Rose Mahoney
Greta Ure
Elliot Ure
Eleanor Jackson

This show is part of Jamaica Plain's Centre/South street's "First Thursdays" celebration. Each First Thursday of the month more than two dozen businesses along Centre and South Streets are transformed into galleries featuring works from local artists. Open receptions at each location, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, offer a chance to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and experience JP's fabulous businesses in an entirely new light.

Here are some photos of the work displayed by the young artists.
