High-Lights from the $5 Bag Sale!

Were you one of the lucky folks waiting outside Honeyspot on that cold, wet March day a couple weeks ago? Then you will enjoy this trip down memory lane, as we re-live the high-lights of our $5-A-Bag Sale. And if you missed, well, that's a shame.

Turn That Bag Loose! They came from near, they came from far... they brought frankincense, murr and $5. They loaded up on clothes and kitschy kitchen items. Some were a bit more greedier than others, you know like that kid at the birthday party who swoops in to steal all the candy from the piƱata. But we kept them in line the best we could.

The Staff

Honeyspot customers were treated to some great southern Jamaica Plain hospitality. Emily G. and Caitlin R. provided them with all the help and advice anyone participating in a $5 Bag sale could ever need! You would be surprised how many people actually thought they could fit a floor lamp into a regular, everyday plastic bag. Good thing these two doobies were there to help.

The Velvet Rope
Somethings weren't included in the bag sale. So Janet Jackson let us borrow her "Velvet Rope" to keep them protected. But fear, not they were still discounted greatly, unlike her ticket prices. OH! Zing!

Thoughts and Reflections

We learned a lot can fit into a bag. We also learned a lot of attitude can fall out of a bag. But we all had fun, so get over it already.
